Final Countdown...

Today was the 11th of September, the day before my birthday. I was super lucky, and was able to take the half day snorkel cruise to Kealakekua Bay, which is where the Captain Cook monument resides.

We were really fortunate, there was a dolphin that raced the boat the whole way to the snorkel area, and then all the way back again! I haven't gotten the pictures from the underwater camera developed yet, but I will post pictures when I do.

The snorkeling was the most awesome thing I have ever done I think. I saw so many different fish, and even saw a Crown of Thorns. Also so pufferfish, trumpet fish, and others I don't know the names of!

Tomorrow for my birthday, the only definite plan so far, is an oceanfront massage in the morning! I can't wait! Probably more snorkeling at one of the protected coves nearby. :) Have a great day!
